My Story
I’ve worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years after receiving my degree from Western Washington University in Exercise and Sports Science.
I began my career as an exercise specialist at a premier physical therapy clinic in Snohomish county. Working closely with the Physical Therapist, I planned appropriate exercise programs with a focus on proper mechanics, injury rehabilitation, injury prevention and conditioning. My philosophy has been grounded with these principles in mind.
I strive to ensure my clients are in correct form and only increase the weight or exercise when they are ready and I feel it is safe to challenge them. I have vast knowledge of injury rehab and focus on gaining strength in the postural and stability muscles, and provide a total body conditioning program. Injury prevention is of utmost importance to me.
I created my traveling personal training business to give clients a workout environment that was comfortable and convenient. I believe that a personal trainer is someone who can motivate you, teach you, and give you the tools for lifelong fitness and health. My approach is to get to know my clients, learn what has worked for them or hasn’t worked and create a plan with them for success. This will include strategic exercise progression, accountability, general nutritional advice, and celebrating my clients’ success along the way.
I believe that movement and exercise should be fun, and that having a simple, effective approach to fitness is critical. I believe you need to laugh and enjoy what life has to offer.
